PCCU is committed to helping our members improve their finances through education. To make this education more accessible to busy working women and men we offer it through several mediums.
First is PCCU’s Financial Resource Center at pccu.com/financialresource. It features articles, podcasts, calculators, and videos on topics as varied as saving, credit scores, and buying a home to things like teaching your children to be money smart and planning for retirement.
We also offer our Education Director Kim Welch’s Money Matters Video Blog (Vlog), which you can find on our site at pccu.com/vlog. She offers five to ten minute YouTube videos focused on important topics like the importance of your credit score, paying down debt, and buying a home. You can even send her questions or topics you would like to see answered in future videos by emailing her at kwelch@pccu.com. Subscribe to the PCCU YouTube channel to
get future updates.
Additionally, Kim takes our message of better living through improved financial literacy on the road to local schools, churches, groups, and employers. She provides content and lesson ideas to local teachers, as well as direct lessons on financial matters. She also provides classes and workshops to other community groups upon request. She even meets with members and non-members to help them learn budgeting or how to get out of debt on a one to one basis. If you would like to have Kim help your class or group, or even if you just need some one on one help, you can contact her at kwelch@pccu.com to see how she can help.
