Ice Cream Social Benefits Hoosier Explorers Field Trip Fund

On Friday, June 8th, PCCU offices hosted an ice cream social in all three of our offices in support of the Hoosier Explorers Field Trip Fund. Members were invited to enjoy a cup of ice cream and a visit to the fixings bar. There was no charge for these tasty treats, but a free-will donation of $2 was recommended. Thank you for your support of local students and teachers. By working together we can help them have a richer school experience!

This was the first of many fundraisers to benefit the Field Trip Fund. But you don’t have to wait until the next one to make a donation. We will gladly accept your gift at any time, and we have boxes in each of our offices for your convenience. Our staff will also happily accept your deposit or transfer on the Fund’s behalf, just let them know if
you would like it to benefit a particular school or the entire fund. You can even send us a secure request for a transfer through mobile or home banking!

The Hoosier Explorers Field Trip Fund helps public schools in Wayne and Henry counties pay for transportation costs for field trips in the state of Indiana. The Fund is the sole focus of PCCU’s charitable efforts and looks to fill a need too often cut from school budgets. For more information about the Hoosier Explorers Field Trip Fund, visit our site.
