Introducing PCCU’s new personal financial education Zoom classes — The Perfect Flex! In April, we’ll continue our focus on first time home buyers with two new events.
The first event, First Time Home Buyers — Building Credit will be held Tuesday, April 13th at 6:00 pm. This Zoom event is designed for folks who are interested in buying their first home, but haven’t established credit yet. Your host Kim Welch, PCCU’s Director of Education and Outreach will be making a brief presentation on the basics of establishing the credit you need to become a home owner. Then, Kim and PCCU’s Home Loan Expert, Amy Clark, will take your questions about credit and the home buying process. Whether you’ve decided to make your purchase now or three years from now, this event will be the perfect chance to get your questions answered!
The second event, First Time Home Buyers — Repairing Credit will be held Monday, April 19th at 6:00 pm. This is designed for folks who are interested in buying their first home, but have had difficulties with their credit. Your host Kim Welch, will be making a brief presentation on the basics of working through credit problems and re-establishing the credit you need to become a home owner. Then, Kim and Amy Clark, will take your questions about credit and the home buying process. Whether you’ve been through a bankruptcy, a divorce, or maybe even both, this event will allow you to ask questions without judgement. As specialists in “storybook lending” we know that good people sometimes face hard times and need some help getting back into the game. It’s the “people helping people” philosophy that drives this credit union.
