Your support of the Hoosier Explorers Field Trip Fund, that helps local public school students travel their state, has been impressive. Through the end of June members and employees have donated $766. We have been humbled and impressed by your overwhelming generosity.
As we prepare for a new school year please continue supporting your local fourth graders. We are inviting you to enjoy a cookout at your local PCCU office on Friday, August 31st from 11:00 am until 3:30 pm. For just $3 you will get a hot dog, chips, and a soda, and you can add a second hot dog for just $1. It’s a great lunch deal and great way to help kids see more of Indiana.
If you have other lunch plans, you are always welcome to make a donation instead. You can even call or send a secure message through PCCU AllWays (online or mobile). Just tell us how much you would like to donate, which of your accounts you would like the donation to come from, and if you would like to donate to a specific school.
Have a child or grandchild starting fourth grade in a Wayne or Henry county public school? You may want to let their teacher know about the Field Trip Fund. Have them visit our website or contact Kim Welch, PCCU’s Education Director, for more information.
