Education Director - Kim Welch

Kim Welch is PCCU’s Education and Outreach Director, a title that covers a lot of ground. Kim is well versed in adult education, and she’s reaching out through her Money Matters Vlog to offer some of the basics you might have missed in school. She’s also ready to provide financial education and support to groups and organizations that serve adults who’d like to take control of their finances.

Kim offers classroom support for local educators that want to teach financial education, but could use some help getting started, as well as those want to refresh their lesson plans with new materials and information. She can even provide in class support as a guest speaker with expertise on complex issues like money management, credit building, and college planning. She’s ready to work with teachers in schools, churches, scout groups, and other organizations who want provide financial education.

With more than twenty-five years of experience in the credit union movement, and more than a decade of teaching financial literacy, Kim is passionate about her role. She helps make PCCU’s mission statement, “Committing ourselves to continuing financial education for everyone’s success.”, a reality.
