Cashier’s Checks are an inexpensive way to move funds between institutions; it is signed by the credit union and considered guaranteed funds.
- A cashier’s check is a check of guaranteed funds from your account. The difference between a cashier’s check and a money order is that the cashier’s check is signed and guaranteed by a credit union employee and a money order is treated like an ordinary check signed by the member.
