While you’re setting up your direct deposit it’s a great time to think about dividing your deposit to help save money for that rainy day. You can have us split your direct deposit between your various accounts, so that some goes into your Share Draft (Checking) account and some goes in to your Share (Savings) account. Adding a Christmas Club or Club For Account can be a great way to achieve specific goals. For example, Jane has her payroll deposit split three ways each week. $50 goes in to her Share account for rainy days, $20 goes in to her Club For account titled “Spot” to pay for dog grooming and vet bills, and the remainder goes to her Share Draft to pay bills.
